Link Visiting Places: SKY WORL EDITION
Link had left the bar to make some arrangements--namely, making sure that the door lead him to Skyloft, rather than the Lanayru Caves--or the Lanayru Gorge. Wouldn't that have been confusing to the old dragon, walking out with another human?
Not that the people of Skyloft wouldn't be any less confused by the Link. Skyloft was a pretty tight-knit community for such a large island, and it'd be hard, explaining the other boy in a convincing fashion. He's hoping he can explain it away by saying he's a fan from one of the outlying islands. But he has his doubts about that...
Doubts he will set aside for the time being. It's time to wake the other boy up!
So he's knock, knock, knocking on his door.
"Hey, Link? It's me...Link!"

"But then, everyone else can tell I'm from the forest because of my clothes, so...I dunno. I still go back home sometimes, but everything's so...small now."

"Um, being bigger took some getting used to, but I really liked that. And everyone in my village likes me now, they think I'm some cool guy who came in and got rid of all the monsters. Like, they call me Big Bro, stuff like that." But...hmm.
"...I think it's better they don't know. So it's fine." Because they actually like and look up to him now, so he will take that over being the weird kid who everyone thinks killed the Great Deku Tree anyyyyyyyyy day of the week.

He looks down to his soup and chuckles, thinking about the day of the Wing Ceremony, way back when it seems, and how Zelda worked herself into a panic over nothing. He was fine. He won the race. And then--
And then maybe, if he hadn't...
"So you wanna see the rest of the Bazaar?" he asks, looking at Link suddenly, and with a forced grin.
no subject
Link pls.
no subject
"Hmm...I only need to go to the potions shop," he says. "I guess...do you want to get your fortune told?"
no subject
"...Yes." He says with the utmost seriousness.
But he still wants to see what kind of potions they have!!!
no subject
Facing its entrance, they are greeted by the very wide, disturbing blue eyes of Sparrot.
Link is not sure if he looks confused or if he's just staring.
no subject
"...Hi." After actually getting comfortable and waiting for a fortune...and after being stared at for an uncomfortable amount of time, Sparrot finally comes to the conclusion of...being unable to see a goddamned thing.
He can't really be blamed, though, since that's what happens when you're supposed to make time your bimptch three ways till Sunday. Still, there isn't much to make out aside from a path that's very hazy and branching and looping every which way possible and it's very frustrating!! :'(
Link just looks guiltier and guiltier the more his fortune is trying to be put in a coherent way.
no subject
"I don't think he can see that far into the future," he whispers.
no subject
The good news is they weren't told about the possible future where he dies.
"Maybe it's just really hard to see." Come to think of it, Rauru did call him the Hero of Time, but he...doesn't fully get what that means, at least not yet.
no subject
Yes, Canondoor.
no subject
The word you are looking for is Ganondorf.
no subject
What the fuck kind of name is Ganonforf anyway???
No matter. He's hovering over the vat of red liquid now with an empty bottle. Recovery items first! Always a must...
no subject
He looks at the different potion vats with interest before remembering about the butterflies.
"So which potion where the butterflies for?"
no subject
"See that guy over there?" he asks, pointing to the thin man crouched over a large cauldron, baby clinging to his back. "He infuses the potions his wife makes. He's really good at it. I just...wonder why he never asks me where the bugs come from..."
And now he's going to look contemplatively at the vat of, um, Hylia colored potion???
Link is free to peruse the other potions around him: the green one, the purple one, and the blue one! Luv will certainly have a great sales pitch for each of them, even if she is giving Fairy Boy a scrutinizing look.
no subject
"I'll have the kind that fills up magic, please," he says before Luv can even say anything, and of course he kinda said that a little loudly, o-oops.
no subject
Luv just blinks, hands on her hips. "If you say so, dear. That'll be 50 rupees. By the way, what's the deal with the hat and the clothes? Trying to follow in this one's footsteps?" She jabs a thumb in the direction of Master Shortpants.
no subject
"No, these clothes are for the forest. It's probably a coincidence." Hmm, well, they do has a different cut to them, and it doesn't look like he's wearing any armor underneath it. Noooot looking like something a knight would wear.
"I still like him, though, we're friends." Nods sagely.
no subject
"Hahaha! That's just what he names the island he's from, isn't that right Mr. Buddy Guy?" says Link, having dashed from Bertie's cauldron to stop his friend from making any more blunders.
